This is a NEC PC Engine DUO-RX (PCE-DUORX) console set, including the pad, AV cable, and power supply unit.

The unit has a known issue with the CD-ROM2 lid: normally, closing the lid triggers the system to recognize the CD, but on this unit the small plastic tab on the underside of the lid that presses the internal switch is broken, so the system doesn't detect that the lid is closed. As a workaround, manually pressing and holding the switch (see photos) allows games to run normally, confirming the console and drive themselves are functional — but you'll need to keep the lid open and manually trigger the switch to use it.
