This is a vintage Nintendo Game & Watch "Parachute" (Model PR-21), part of the Wide Screen series of handheld electronic games. It's a collector's set complete with its original packaging and documentation, including the main unit, the original outer gold box, the original instruction manual (取扱説明書), the original yellow caution slip (ご注意), and the original inner styrofoam tray.
This set is sold as-is/junk for parts or repair due to the screen: the LCD panel has age-related degradation (a deteriorated polarizing film) that causes a dark burnt area in the center, and as a result the game graphics don't display properly or clearly from the front. The main unit, outer box, and manuals also show vintage wear, creases, and minor scratches consistent with age — please inspect the photos closely for the overall condition.
The screen would need a polarizing sheet replacement to be playable again, but a set with the original box, manual, and yellow caution slip all intact is increasingly rare, making this a good candidate for a vintage Nintendo restoration project or for box collectors.
