NEC PC Engine DUO Console HuCARD Works CD-ROM Not Reading Repair Junk, Japan

This is an NEC PC Engine DUO-R console, a Japan-region system. It is sold as a repair/junk item because the CD-ROM2 drive does not work.

The Hu-card lid is broken and the console has a lot of stains. Hu-card games play normally and the console's sound output is normal. However, the console does not read CD-ROM2 games. One official DUO-R controller pad is included and works normally. Four games are included. The power supply (AC adapter) and AV cable are not included.

As a Japanese PC Engine console, please confirm your setup is compatible before ordering, and buy only if you are comfortable with the non-working CD-ROM2 drive.
